Saturday, March 26, 2011 - Living Above Our Means

"Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the E V E R L A S T I N G  GOD, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary
they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:31

"The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him;

it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD."
Lamentations 3:25-26

"You have made known to me the path of life;
You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand."
Psalm 16:11
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."
Matthew 5:8
LORD, GOD, Almighty Creator of all that is, was or will ever be, because of You we can live above our means. Purify us, Lord, from all that weighs us down and trips us. Unshackle us from weights of worry and past failures. We can take the next difficult step because You pour Your strength into us. You don't expect us to find it in ourselves but to hope in You. As we wait in hope, help us develop pure hearts - unburdened, healed, open, forgiven, light hearts.  Forgive us for living as though we do not know You are God or that we haven't heard and learned that You are the LORD, Creator. Let these truths sink deeply into our souls and lift us up to soar like eagles. Teach us to live above our means.
In the Name of Jesus Who told us if we ask, we'll receive.
